Travis Kelce Shoots Down Claims He and Taylor Swift Are Showing Off: 'We're Just Enjoying Life'

Travis Kelce is pushing back on the pushback regarding his very public relationship with Taylor Swift.

“We’re having fun with it,” the NFL star, 35, said during a guest spot on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast. “It gets thrown out there, like we’re trying to seek attention every now and then. We’re just enjoying life and having fun going to hockey games, kinda introducing her to some more of the sports world.” 

Kelce and Swift, 35, have enjoyed date nights in New York City, suite seats at the NHL Finals in Florida and a summertime wedding in recent weeks — and the attention is expected, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said.

But the one thing that Kelce hasn’t seemingly adjusted to two years into his relationship with the music icon is the near-constant cameras documenting their every move.

“The paparazzi, that’s probably the only thing I didn’t really grasp until you’re in it,” Kelce told co-host Will Compton. “That’s probably the craziest part though.”

The Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? host then joked about the extreme nature of his life as an “A-List celebrity.”

“Like I’m just playing golf and all of a sudden in the trees, there’s a f------ guy with a camera,” Kelce said, before joking that he can no longer take a bathroom break on the course. “Just don’t want my meat on Page Six, know what I mean?”

Over the weekend, the couple kept to the concrete jungle in N.Y.C., where they stepped out hand-in-hand at San Vicente West Village on Saturday, June 28.

Kelce kept things semi-casual with an oversized short-sleeve white dress shirt and blank pants, while the “Fortnight” singer wore a pink and white houndstooth Balmain dress and tan accessories.

The night out came days after Swift performed at Kelce’s “Tight Ends & Friends” concert in Nashville on June 24, a highlight for Swifties — and seemingly San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle — as part of Tight End University, Kelce, Kittle and Greg Olsen's annual three-day training camp.

When the NFL shared a carousel of snaps of her surprise performance on Instagram, the athlete was quick to praise his girlfriend in the comments section.

“Turn me up Tay Tay!!” he wrote underneath the post.
