Little People, Big World's Zach Roloff Is a 'Natural' as He Tests Out His Cradling Skills Ahead of Son's Birth
Little People, Big World airs Tuesdays (9 p.m. ET) on TLC
Zach Roloff is now getting firsthand experience cradling an infant, but the new daddy was already practicing his baby-holding skills ahead of his son’s recent arrival.
In a PEOPLE exclusive sneak peek at Tuesday’s all-new Little People, Big World episode, the 27-year-old was tasked with the important responsibility of holding an infant during a photo shoot.
“Emma was the cutest little thing. She was happy as a [clam],” Zach said reflecting on the tender moment. “But it’s stressful. Just holding someone else’s baby.”
Added Zach, “With Emma, too, she had a bigger head. I wanted to support that.”

Still, despite his hesitations, Zach, who sported a big grin on his face while gazing down at little Emma’s face, was complimented for being “a natural.”
“Being a dad is going to be a new experience,” the TLC star said prior to his son’s birth. “Honestly, having a [little person] kid, there can be other complications that come with it. But you just gotta be prepared for whatever life throws at us.”
In November of last year, Zach and his wife Tori Roloff, who wed in July 2015, announced that they were expecting.
And last weekend, PEOPLE reported that Tori gave birth to their first child together: a son, Jackson Kyle Roloff.
Little Jackson weighed in at 9 lbs., 1 oz., and stretched 20.5 in. long.
“Baby and mother are doing great and Jackson is already mastered holding daddy’s fingers and snuggling with mom! He is adorable and Tori and I are loving being parents,” Zach said.
