A penchant for patterned sweaters, a mustache that toes the line between handsome and handlebar, and chest hair thick enough to combat wintry temps: Zach Galifianakis‘s newest character looks undeniably like another macho man.

Best known for his role as petulant Ron Swanson on NBC’s Parks and Recreation, Nick Offerman‘s unique brand of anti-trend manliness seems to have rubbed off on Galifianakis, who debuted a similar look Tuesday on the New Orleans set of his as-yet-untitled comedy.

Treating himself to some Sun Chips, funnyman Galifianakis enjoyed a fruit smoothie while tooling around town in pleated denim slacks – his smartphone at the ready in a handy hip holster.
