After announcing that they had decided to go their “separate ways” after nine years together, Yolanda and David Foster now face the task of divvying up their assets as well.

The divorce won’t be the first for either star, who tied the knot in a fairy tale wedding on Nov. 11, 2011. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda, 51, was previously married to Mohamed Hadid from 1994 2000. She and Hadid have three children together: Gigi, 20, Bella, 19, and son Anwar, 16.

Music mogul David, 66, has been married four times and has five daughters from his previous relationships.

Just how much is at stake in their divorce? If the pair doesn’t have a prenuptial agreement, California law will come into play in the divorce proceedings. Under California’s Family Code, assets of divorcing spouses are divided equally.

Yolanda reportedly has an estimated net worth of around $45 million, which she accrued through her work as a model and television personality, as well as from her divorce settlement to Hadid.

Meanwhile, music producer David – a 16-time Grammy winner – is presumed to be worth around $30 million.

In terms of spousal support, it’s unclear if either side will be asking for any, though Yolanda did reportedly receive spousal support from ex Hadid. And according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, David’s third wife Linda Thompson sought alimony from her ex.

In early 2014, Yolanda and David listed their 3.25-acre Malibu estate on the market with a $27.5 million price tag. The stunning six-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion – which was regularly featured on the reality Bravo series – sold in October this year for $19.495 million.

When David and ex-wife Thompson sold their 22-acre Malibu estate in 2005, the profits were divided equally, according to papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court at the time.

Thus far, David and Yolanda have maintained their split was amicable.

“Sadly we have decided to go our separate ways,” they told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement announcing their split Dec. 1. “We’ve shared nine beautiful and joyous years together. During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues.”

The health issues the couple faced centered on Yolanda’s Lyme disease (she was diagnosed in 2012).

A source told PEOPLE last week that Yolanda’s ongoing health crisis took a toll on their marriage: “Things really changed in their relationship as Yolanda got sick, and then when her health worsened,” the source said. “David travels all the time, and they simply weren’t spending any time together.”

Added the source, “They just grew apart, and the intense stress over her health and the disease was very hard on their marriage.”

A day after they announced their split, Yolanda took to Twitter to voice that she still loves and respects David, writing, “We’ve grown apart but my love & respect for @officialdfoster is still the same. he’s been very good 2 me so pls don’t judge our journey!”
