Yolanda Foster says she still has plenty of love and respect for David Foster.

“We’ve grown apart but my love & respect for @officialdfoster is still the same,” she tweeted one day after the former couple announced they will be divorcing. “he’s been very good 2 me so pls don’t judge our journey!”

David, 66, and Yolanda, 51, were married at a fairytale wedding 2011. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012 and has been open about her health struggles, which a source previously told PEOPLE contributed to the couple drifting apart.

“Things really changed in their relationship as Yolanda got sick, and then when her health worsened,” the source told PEOPLE. “David travels all the time and they simply weren’t spending any time together.”

Following the divorce announcement, several of Yolanda’s RHOBH costars sent her messages of support via social media.

“I was so sorry to hear about @YolandaHFoster and David. My love to them both,” tweeted Eileen Davidson, while Adrienne Maloof tweeted she was “Sending positivity and love.”

Yolanda is mother to three children from her first marriage to Mohamed Hadid: Gigi, 20, Bella, 19, and Anwar, 16.

David is father to five daughters and has been married four times.

“Sadly we have decided to go our separate ways,” the couple told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement Tuesday. “We’ve shared nine beautiful and joyous years together. During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues.”

Early Thursday morning, Yolanda tweeted, “What defines us is how we rise after falling….. #GoodNightNoteToSelf” with a heart emoji.
