Don’t expect any spoilers from Winona Ryder.
The veteran actress, who has a prominent role in the Netflix smash hit Stranger Things, said she has to stay mum about what lies ahead on the second season of the show — because her life might depend on it.
“We would probably have to be killed if we revealed anything,” Ryder told E!’s Ryan Seacrest on the Golden Globes red carpet Sunday.

Ryder, 45, also hinted that the cast is often kept in the dark about key plot points — but that’s a good thing.

“It helps the performance when you actually don’t know,” she said. “It’s a strange thing — I never thought it would work that way, but it’s interesting.”

The veteran actress also opened up about her decades-long bond with fellow ’80s star Christian Slater, who like her is enjoying a career resurgence with his hit USA show, Mr. Robot.

“I have not seen him in a long time, but I adore him,” she gushed. “I am so happy for him … we started out together, 16 years old — or I was — and Heathers. I’ve just always loved him, and I’m so happy to see him doing so well. He’s just the best.
