Macy knows just how lucky he is to be married to Felicity Huffman. Macy opened up about his 22-year romance with Huffman during an interview with Willie Geist on Sunday Today, calling their marriage a âfairytale.â âOur marriage is a fairytale marriage,â he said. âI loved her the second I saw her.â And while the Shameless actor said being with someone who is also in the entertainment industry can be hard, itâs what bonded the couple in their early days of dating. She can be tough, and I can be tough, too. We met in the theater and thatâs really at the core of our relationship.â Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy. Trae Patton/NBC Macy, 68, and Huffman, 56, dated on and off for 15 years before finally tying the knot in 1997. The two share daughters Sophia Grace, 18, and Georgia Grace, 16. Back in 2014, Huffman said she and Macy love being parents to teenagers. âGetting into the car to come here, I suddenly realized we didnât call a babysitter,â Huffman told PEOPLE before attending Showtimeâs pre-Emmys party. âItâs a reflection of my parenting. Last year, Huffman stepped out with Macy to support his nomination at the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards. âI am very calm and supportive, as are you, I have to say,â Huffman said to her husband on the red carpet. Macy responded, âItâs always been that way with us. Sheâs never wanted anything for me but good things.
