Paris Hilton‘s real life hasn’t exactly been simple lately, but the hotel heiress wants to show the world the serious side of her life beyond tabloid headlines.

To that end, Hilton – who formerly costarred on The Simple Life – will star in a new, yet untitled reality series about her life and work on the Oxygen Network, PEOPLE confirms.

The series will feature Hilton’s interactions with friend Brooke Mueller, who is Charlie Sheen’s estranged wife; pal Jennifer Rovero, a former girlfriend of Fred Durst; nightlife promoter Allison Melnick; and Hilton’s mom, Kathy.

The producers behind the series are A. Smith & Co., who work on Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsay.
