Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom: Why Getting Back Together is 'Not' on the Table

A source tells PEOPLE, Kardashian "just wants him to stay healthy"

Khloé Kardashian has been by Lamar Odom’s side since he nearly died from an overdose in October, but despite caring for her estranged husband since he was found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel, their relationship isn’t romantic.

“Khloé and Lamar are definitely not getting back together,” an insider tells PEOPLE in the latest issue. “That is not on the table right now.”

Odom just celebrated Easter with the Kardashian-Jenner family, attending a morning church service, followed by brunch and an Easter egg hunt at Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West ‘s Bel Air house, but just the night before he was spotted out with friends drinking at a bar.

“Lamar refuses to listen to her,” says a source. “He actually said to her, ‘Nothing will happen to me. Look how I survived the last time.'”

While Odom’s risky behavior has Kardashian worried, she is still very much focused on his well-being.

“She cares for him so much and she just wants him to stay healthy. His near tragedy devastated her. It was such a painful time. She doesn’t want to go down that road again – for either of them.”
