Whitney Way Thore is known for her happy and positive body image, but her health may be starting to hold her back.

In an exclusive clip from the new season of TLC’s My Big Fat Fabulous Life, Thore learns her body’s limits while running a dance-a-thon.

“This is a big event for me, I’ve never pulled off a dance-a-thon by myself before,” Thore says, as she energetically dances.

“About three-quarters of the way through I start getting really out of breath and my muscles – just holding my arms up – is taxing.”

Thore takes a moment to sit down, drink some water and breathe, but her body is working overtime to cool off.

After asking a friend for Tylenol or another pain-reliever, Thore falls straight out of her chair and collapses on the floor.

Someone calls 911, and Thore is quickly given oxygen and loaded on to a stretcher, before getting whisked away to the hospital in an ambulance.

The incident pushes Thore to face her health issues head-on this season, and completely transform her life.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life premieres June 8 at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
