Which Sex and the City Star Wants to Do Another HBO Comedy?
Carrie Bradshaw’s alter-ego is looking to stage a comeback at HBO.
Sarah Jessica Parker is close to signing a deal that would have her headlining a new comedy for Sex and the City’s former home, PEOPLE confirms.
Parker, 49, would play a wife who’s embarking upon a very long and drawn-out divorce. She’ll also executive producer the comedy with actress-writer Sharon Horgan (who penned the pilot script), Paul Simms, Alison Benson and Aaron Kaplan.
In October, Parker and her former Sex castmates – tortured – played with fans by hinting at a third movie installment of the popular franchise. The speculation started after Jennifer Hudson – who starred in the first movie – hinted at another sequel on Dish Nation.
