Scandal may not last that much longer on ABC, but that doesn’t mean the characters have to go away, too.

Creator Shonda Rhimes – who has reportedly said her Kerry Washington drama, unlike Grey’s Anatomy, won’t last 10 or even 8 seasons – can imagine a drama revolving around B613.

“I have my own obsessions with B613 that are probably unhealthy,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “I have like three versions of a B613 spinoff in my head that I obsess about constantly.”

For the (tragically!) uninitiated, B613 is a covert government agency run by Olivia’s (Washington) father Rowan Pope (Joe Morton). No one seems to be able to control the rogue and downright frightening organization – even President Fitzgerald Grant (Tony Goldwyn) himself.

That said, the pipe dream of creating a B613 spinoff may have to stay like that for now.

“I have some jobs, as you may notice, and not a lot of time to do some new jobs,” said Rhimes, who continues to oversee Grey’s Anatomy as well as her newest drama, How to Get Away with Murder.

“What I love is how supportive ABC is and how great (ABC Entertainment Group president) Paul Lee is. Paul says … he wants Grey’s to run forever and he’d love Scandal to run forever. I think I just got a 20-season pickup for all my shows!”
