Williams was not wearing her wedding band when she took the stage of her hit daytime talk show, amid rumors of marital trouble with her husband, Kevin Hunter. The 54-year-old sported a large floral ring on her left hand instead. In an Instagram video posted by makeup artist Merrell Hollis, she gave a close-up of her hand. Her reps did not immediately return PEOPLE’s requests for comment. Though she did not address the missing ring on her show or in that video, Williams has denied rumors of marital strife in the past by proudly flaunting her diamond sparkler. I’m still wearing my ring,” she said on her March 4 show. “Believe me you, when you’ve been with somebody for 28 years, married for 25 years … we know each other. He’s my best friend, he’s my lover. … I know what you’ve been seeing .. but hunty, let me show you who I fell in love with and who he fell in love with.” She also said not to inquire about her relationship until the ring came off her finger. “I’m still very much in love with my husband and anyone who’s been married … you know,” said the host, who’s been open about Hunter cheating on her shortly after their now 19-year-old son was born. “Marriages have ebbs and flows, marriage isn’t easy. And don’t ask me about mine until you see this gone,” she added, gesturing to her wedding ring. “And it ain’t going anywhere, not in this lifetime.” Williams was also seen arriving at her talk show on March 28 without her wedding ring, though she later wore it on-air. All About Wendy Williams’ Husband of 25 Years — and His Cheating Scandals Last month, Williams revealed on-air that she had quietly been focusing on her sobriety. “I have been living in a sober house. … You know I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in the past,” she said on The Wendy Williams Show. “I never went to a place to get treatment … there are people in your family, it might be you … I want you to know more of the story.” She added that her husband was the only person who knew she was seeking treatment. “Only Kevin knows about this. Not my parents, nobody. Nobody knew because I look so glamorous out here,” she said. “I am driven by my 24-hour sober coach back to a home that I live in the tri-state with a bunch of smelly boys who have become my family.” Wiliams was reportedly hospitalized in late March after checking herself out of the sober living house, according to the Daily Mail. The bag often contains thiamine, folic acid, magnesium and sulfate.
