Viola Davis has had her fair share of sex scenes on How to Get Away with Murder, but now, the actress has some terms and conditions for the steamy sessions.

“I told them, ‘No more sex scenes!’ Well, sex scenes but, ‘You can not throw me up against the wall,’ ” the 51-year-old actress said during a Monday appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“They threw me up against the wall the first season and I threw my back out for two weeks – and my hip! So, I limped around for two weeks and I said, “No more walls.’ ”

Davis told host Ellen DeGeneres that she isn’t completely opposed to sex scenes, but she has a few stipulations.

“I just want to, you know, be on the bed and I don’t want to move,” the actress said with a laugh. “I don’t want anyone on top of me, I don’t want to be on top of anybody else.”

DeGeneres chimed in: “Sounds like you don’t know how to do it right.”

This isn’t the first time Davis has spoken out about the steamy sex scenes. Last month, the actress told PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly editorial director Jess Cagle that the scenes aren’t too fun when there’s a room full of people watching you.

“When you have cameras in front of you – imagine cameras coming to your house when doing an intimate scene,” she said. “That changes everything.”
