If there’s one role Jason Priestley is used to playing, it’s a heartthrob.

Even several years after taking on the iconic role of Beverly Hills, 90210‘s Brandon Walsh, the actor, 44, still has it in him to play a hunky ladies’ man.

Guest starring in an episode of TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland on Wednesday at 10 p.m., Priestley acts as a star who Valerie Bertinelli’s character Melanie has had her sights on since she was young.

“I’m sorry, it’s just that when I was a teenager, I used to have your poster over my bed and I would dream that you would come alive and crawl into my bed,” Melanie confesses to Priestley’s character, who is sitting on her couch with the expectation of being at what she claimed would be a fundraiser. “And I would pull the sheets real tight so you couldn’t escape.”

Reflecting on the experience with the star to her girlfriends, Melanie says with a grin, “It was a little rocky at first, but I charmed him.”
