"Just when you think you know exactly who's friends and who's not, it completely changes," Dubrow told PEOPLE Now
Last season was a tough one for the Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Vicki Gunvalson. And now, with another season underway, many fans are wondering where her fractured friendships with the other Housewives are headed.
Heather Dubrow stopped by PEOPLE Now to dish on how the women are navigating their relationships with Gunvalson, 54, after her majorly contentious back-and-forth with ex Brooks Ayers, whose cancer scandal made headlines last season (he ultimately admitted to fabricating medical records).
“Well, I think it’s interesting who can move on, who can’t move on and how quickly any of that happens,” said Dubrow, 47. “There are just some very big shifts in relationships and just when you think you know exactly who’s friends and who’s not, it completely changes. You never know.”
As for Gunvalson’s new man Steve Chavez? Dubrow remained tight-lipped, though she did admit she’s met him and he’s “very nice.”
In the meantime, Dubrow has her own drama to deal with – and, according to her, it’s something major.
“I’m telling you, starting in – I think it’s episode 5, something happens and that’s when you see me crying in that teaser,” she said. “That had nothing to do with [my husband] Terry [Dubrow], nothing to do with our family – that had to do with something with the girls.”
“I think everyone’s known me for a few years now, and I am a happy crier, I’m not a sad crier,” she added. “And so for something to move me like that, it was pretty off-the-hook.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Mondays (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
