Vanderpump Rules' Lala Kent Says Her Car Was Burglarized: 'Don't Trust Anybody!'
Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent claimed that she had 'thousands of dollars' of stuff stolen from her car parked inside her gated community
Vanderpump Rules‘ Lala Kent claims that someone stole “thousands of dollars” of her belongings from her car parked inside her gated community.
The 28-year-old reality star shared the news on her Instagram Story on Thursday, telling her followers, “So I go downstairs to my car, cleaning it out, and by the time I made the second run, I had been robbed, all my Christmas presents, thousands of dollars worth of things were just taken.”
“Taken from behind double-guarded gates,” she continued. “Do I feel safe where I live? Not really, but I wanted to give a shoutout to the LAPD for taking time out of their days dealing with real, life-threatening things to hear me out on what happened. So, shout out to them.”
Then, she addressed her alleged burglar.
“I hope whoever took my fabulous stuff enjoys, but what I hope even more that we catch you, because you can’t take other peoples things that we work hard to pay for. I hope everyone has a phenomenal Thursday. Lock your doors and don’t trust anybody!” she concluded.
Kent’s did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment. The LAPD could not confirm the alleged robbery.
The SUR hostess got engaged to 47-year-old Hollywood producer Randall Emmett in September.
Emmett popped the question during a romantic trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where they also celebrated her 28th birthday at the Esperanza An Auberge Resort.
“This weekend has been an amazing one for the two of us! It was definitely the most romantic moment of my life. Every detail of the surprise was stunning and I’m still in shock,” Kent told PEOPLE of the proposal.
Emmett had set up a screen for her to watch one of her favorite shows, Friends, before the screen went black and showed a video of the pair and all their memories together, including moments with their families. At the end, Emmett got on his knee and proposed. As he placed the diamond engagement ring on her finger, a private fireworks display went off in the background.
“I keep looking down at my ring finger. I’m just so happy to say we are officially engaged. We are so excited to start planning the rest of our lives together and I’m excited to put as much detail as Randall did in our engagement into our wedding!” Kent said.
“I immediately started to think I can’t wait to tell my parents we are engaged! I looked up in the sky at that exact moment and saw one bright star gleaming,” she added.
Kent, who joined the cast of Vanderpump Rules in season 4, kept her relationship with Emmett under wraps at first, referring to him as “my man” on the show.
They went public in January 2018.
Emmett finalized his divorce from actress Ambyr Childers in December 2017.
