With three weeks to go until JoJo Fletcher makes her debut on the new season of The Bachelorette, Bachelor Nation has some fresh meat courtesy of the folks at UnREAL.

Created by a former Bachelor staffer, the series’ pitch-black take on reality TV romance returns this June to Lifetime, and PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly can exclusively reveal three new promos that show how the, ahem, small-screen sausage is made.

In the first clip, sharp-tongued Chantal says in an on-camera interview: “I do think love is like a rose: it just needs to blossom – and it will cut you if you’re not careful.”

Cut to producers Rachel (Shiri Appleby) and Quinn (Constance Zimmer), who are working their Frankenstein magic on the soundbyte to give Chantal an even more acidic persona than she already has.

Another clip shows bachelorette Tiffany giving her family’s philosophy on courtship, and we’ll just let you watch how Rachel and Quinn get to this doozy: “The best way to a man’s wallet is through his pants.”

Finally, Yael seems the sweetest of the ladies looking for Everlasting love, so naturally Quinn and Rachel have a field day with this earnest line: “We all feel blessed – especially me.”

After completely flipping Yael’s character upside down, Rachel says smugly, “Damn, we’re good.”

Says Quinn, “Yes we are.”

UnREAL season 2 premieres June 6 on Lifetime.
