Tyra Banks Demands Respect in Tear-Filled America's Next Top Model Season 24 Sneak Peek
The 44-year-old model and actress returns to host ANTM's cycle 24 in January
The boss is back … and means business!
In a PEOPLE exclusive first look at America’s Next Top Model‘s cycle 24, Tyra Banks makes her triumphant return as the show’s beloved host.
“When you come in this room, you respect, you got that?” Banks, 44, tells contestants in the trailer for the upcoming season, which teases tears, pillow fights and “deeply-rooted psychological warfare.”
VH1 announced in March that after sitting out the most recent installment, Banks — who also serves as ANTM‘s creator and executive producer — will return to host.
“I get that I’m from London and I’m not American, but I’m a lifelong fan of the show,” Ora, 26, previously told PEOPLE. “I knew of [Tyra] inside out from being a fan, so when I got to meet her, it was incredible. She has such a huge personality and she’s exactly the same in real life.”
“She’s really happy with where it’s going,” she added.
Following the announcement of Banks’ return, Ora, 27, welcomed back Banks on social media.
“Words can’t describe how much FUN I had hosting this show for you – it was such an honour,” she captioned a selfie of the two. “I grew up watching and loving the show, it was a dream come true and I can’t wait for you to hear my new album! It’s TIME PEOPLE!!! Love the whole ANTM cast and crew and good luck for the future!! Love you @tyrabanks.”
Also returning to the panel of judges on cycle 24? Ashley Graham, Paper Magazine Chief Creative Officer Drew Elliott and celebrity stylist and image architect Law Roach.
“Oh yeah, I’m back!” Graham previously told PEOPLE. “It’s happening. [I’m looking forward to] Having Tyra there. She was there in the beginning and the end [of cycle 23], but we didn’t get the Tyra-isms in the midst of it all. I’m so excited to have her there because she is a mentor and she’s definitely someone that I look up to.”
This cycle of ANTM will feature guest appearances from former judge Nigel Barker and season 3 winner Eva Marcille, Director X, beauty and social media guru Patrick Starr, choreographer Jermaine Browne, supermodel Jourdan Dunn and Hip Hop artist Maejor, among others, as well as a VH1 crossover with RuPaul’s Drag Race fan-favorites Valentina, Katya and Manila.
America’s Next Top Model returns Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. ET on VH1.
