Tyler Baltierra opened up about the heartbreak he felt spending Thanksgiving without his wife Catelynn Lowell Baltierra, who remains in treatment after experiencing suicidal thoughts.

The 25-year-old Teen Mom OG star posted an emotional tweet about Catelynn on Thursday morning, telling his followers that “it’s going to be a rough holiday without being able to kiss her & tell her how thankful I am for her.”

His message was in response to a Thanksgiving-theme Teen Mom OG clip in which Catelynn, 25, and her costars discussed their blessings.

“The other OG ladies, we get each other on a different level,” Catelynn said in the video. “‘They say if you’re friends for 10 years, you’re going to be friends for a lifetime, and it’s already been almost nine.”

Watching it stirred up feelings for Tyler. “My wife looks absolutely beautiful in this,” he wrote.

Although things are tough right now, Tyler remained hopeful he and Catelynn will survive these dark days. “We have a strong resilience crafted by our past,” he said. “We got this.”

Catelynn had tweeted on Nov. 17 that she “thought of every way to kill myself” and announced she would seek treatment.

She then tweeted a photo of the tattoo on her forearm that reads in cursive text, “My story isn’t over yet,” later posting a sweet photo of her daughter Novalee’s favorite toy to Instagram and writing that she would be taking it with her to treatment.

Tyler immediately praised his wife for her bravery.

“Incredibly proud of my wife…when she thought she had no choices left, she reached out & decided to LIVE today! My life would be desolate without her in it. You are beautiful, strong, worthy, & loved @CatelynnLowell #KeepTalkingMH,” he tweeted.

He continued to support her the following day, posting an update about Catelynn to Instagram alongside a silly selfie of the two.

“We just dropped her off,” Tyler wrote. “We haven’t held each other & just cried like that for a long time. Even after 12 years, I continue to be AMAZED by her strength, vulnerability, & courage to get help.”

“‘As long as I am alive, you will never be alone’ – It is my call to arms & I will fight this war with her right by her side, we will not surrender to this…I will go to battle EVERY TIME for her!” he added.

The Baltierras — who have been happily married since August 2015 and are parents to daughter, Novalee Reign, 2 — have been through their fair share of difficult times throughout their more than decade-long relationship, including the bittersweet choice to give up their firstborn daughter, Carly, for adoption when they were teenagers.

In March 2016, Catelynn entered a treatment facility in Arizona for postpartum depression and anxiety following the birth of Novalee.

“I’m seeking help for myself and my family,” she told MTV News, stressing that her treatment will focus on mental health issues and not drug use. “Thank you to all of my supporters. My family and I would appreciate some privacy at this time.”

Speaking with PEOPLE in April, Catelynn opened up about her battle with mental health.

“I’m doing very well. Two years out, you know, since birth, so I’m doing — I actually feel really good, I do. I had a panic attack this morning, but I worked through it. It’s just knowing the things that you have to do to work through it. But yeah, I’m doing way better,” she shared.

Season 7 of Teen Mom OG premieres Monday at 9 p.m. ET.
