After a 12-year run, Two and a Half Men airs its final episode on Thursday.

To commemorate the occasion, star Ashton Kutcher took a moment to honor his costar and friend Jon Cryer.

“Thank you Mr. Cryer for making this job never feel like work. I will miss working with you every day,” Kutcher, 37, captioned a photo of himself and Cryer, 49, on his Facebook page late Wednesday night.

“You are a true partner in every sense of the word,” he wrote. “In four years I never heard you complain and never heard you speak ill of another person even if they took advantage of your kindness and generosity.”

“You are a gentleman. You are a talent. You are someone I look up to,” he also wrote.

Kutcher joined the cast of the hit CBS show in its 9th season, following Charlie Sheen‘s explosive exit in 2011.

Fans remain hopeful that Sheen will appear on the finale, tantalizingly titled “Of Course He’s Dead – Part One and Part Two.”
