• CBS has cut a deal to air an adaptation of the British thriller Eleventh Hour. It’s described as an X-Files-like project, and will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. So expect aliens. Exploding ones.

Jimmy Kimmel will host the American Music Awards for the fourth time. Kanye West is mad that he wasn’t asked.

•After a big public fight with iTunes, NBC has pulled all its programming from the service and is offering it for free on its own download site. NBC then stole iTunes’s lunch money and made fun of it in the schoolyard.
