Tori Spelling fought back tears and cradled her baby bump while confessing her biggest regret, her broken relationship with her mother Candy Spelling, on Tuesday’s tearful new episode of Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.

Spelling told husband Dean McDermott that she’s happy she’ll have a “great” relationship with her daughter-to-be, (Stella Doreen was born June 10, after the episode was shot) but wistful for herself. “I wish I could have had that,” she said.

What brought on this wave of emotion? Tori found out that Candy had read Tori’s confessional, sTori Telling, and was not happy about it, taking to the Internet to express her disapproval. “We communicate through e-mails and blog posts,” said Tori. “It’s sad.”

Indeed. But the episode wasn’t all gloomy. After premature contractions grounded Tori from promoting her book and her HSN jewelry line, doting husband Dean arranged for a “rock star tour bus” to transfer Tori to her San Francisco book signing in style. There, Tori received a visit from SupposiTori Spelling, her fierce drag queen impersonator.

The funniest moment came when the audience also learned that Dean ought to be wary of razors. “I won’t have sex with you if you shave off all your stubble,” Tori taunted him before laughing at Dean’s nonplussed expression. Considering how much the couple loves to brag about their bedroom romps, perhaps McDermott should decline any offers to be a Gillette spokesperson. — Jessica Gold HaralsonOxygen
