Tensions were high on Tuesday’s episode of Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood — or rather, mantels came down (literally!).

Annoyed with the glacial pace of Tori and friends Suzanne McFarlane and Amy Colvin‘s decision making process for the renovation of Tori and Dean’s new home, hubby Dean McDermott took matters into his own hands, uprooting the living room mantel and placing it at Tori’s feet in a dramatic show of frustration.

“It sounds like a —-ing hen house in here,” murmured Dean, shocking the women as he brought the gigantic mantle into the living room. “No one listens to me!” Dean and decorator Suzanne later exchanged words, with Tori calling their altercation “catfight.”

But by the end of the episode, Tori was smiling, Suzanne and Dean hugged it out and while competing in the Deal or No Deal Golf Classic, Dean told the cameras, “All these problems, as much as I complain about them, are great problems to have. I’m a very lucky guy.”

And Tori Spelling — judging by the birthday party for two Dean threw her — is a very lucky lady. Besides surprising her with a dinner at home, Dean bought Tori a Hello Kitty guitar for turning 35. “You always wanted to learn to play guitar, right?” said Dean. “And it’s Tori pink!” Tori beamed, calling herself “blessed” by Dean, Liam, and “the baby girl growing in my belly.”

So, why did she need to hire Kirpal, a “Hollywood wise woman,” to “bless” the new house? The spiritual guru predicted “huge family” for Tori and Dean and had the pair put lemons in every corner of the house to ward off evil spirits. She also advised putting quartz in the backyard to avoid prying eyes. But does it work for paparazzi? — Jessica HaralsonOxygen
