Top Chef is heading to the Big Easy for its season 5 finale — but that doesn’t mean the finalists will be getting a break.

In keeping with the New Orleans location, the network has announced that NOLA resident Emeril Lagasse will serve as the show’s special guest judge.

Bravo has also announced that this year, the finale will feature “shocking twist” (though they offer no clues that what means) that will narrow down its four finalists on Feb. 18.

The remaining three contestants will then face an “extra special challenge” before determining a winner on the Feb. 25 season finale. — Brian Orloff
