In tonight’s episode of PP, Dr. Addison Montgomery (Kate Walsh) sees a new patient, a 35-year-old woman who has just returned from a three-week honeymoon with her new husband. Instead of feeling wedded bliss, she’s returned with quite a medical condition: the inability to consummate her marriage. Diagnosis? She’s a virgin.
“There is something wrong with me,” she blurts out in front of Dr. Montgomery. “My hoo-ha is broken!” Later, Addison discusses the patient’s condition with Drs. Naomi Bennett (Audra McDonald) and Violet Turner (Amy Brenneman), telling them, “The gates are closed, locked, welded shut.” While Violet thinks being a 35-year-old virgin is sad, Addison thinks it’s sweet to wait for marriage. “What’s wrong with waiting for a little magic?” she asks her colleagues.
“I lost my virginity when I was 17,” Violet replies. “It was not magic.”
