Jimmy Fallon Steps Out in Cast After Hand Injury
The Tonight Show host rocks a cast while out over the holiday weekend
Jimmy Fallon is on the mend.
Following a serious home accident on June 26 that caused him to cancel that day’s taping of The Tonight Show, the late-night host showed off a shiny new cast on his left hand while out for July 4th weekend.
Wearing a dark T-shirt, shades and a Yankee cap, Fallon was spotted hopping aboard a Hamptons-bound helicopter in Manhattan on Sunday.
“Tripped and caught my fall (good thing). Ring caught on side of table almost ripped my finger off (bad thing).” Fallon, 40, Tweeted after the accident. His rep told PEOPLE the Saturday Night Live vet “is expected to make a full recovery.”

Fortunately, Fallon he has some much-needed vacation time to recuperate. The Tonight Show is currently on hiatus.
