Josh Krajcik Is Done Making Burritos for Others
"I may make [burritos] privately at home with the curtains drawn," the singer says
Customers of the Columbus, Ohio, burrito shop where Josh Krajcik worked shouldn’t expect to see the X Factor finalist behind the counter any time soon.
The singer, who performed Rihanna‘s “We Found Love” for his dance song on Wednesday’s performance show, says his days serving up burritos are done.
“I’ve been avoiding burritos in general,” Krajcik told PEOPLE Wednesday night. “The irony is just too much for me … The burrito maker thing.”
But Krajcik hasn’t sworn off the food completely. “I may make [burritos] privately at home with the curtains drawn,” he jokes.
And even if he heads home after Thursday’s elimination, the former burrito maker says, “If I work hard after this, I ll be just fine.”
“I cannot go back to just whisking my hair back in a ponytail and pulling on some jeans and a T-shirt and saying, ‘Okay, kids, let’s teach you piano,’ ” Melanie, who tackled Adele’s “Someone Like You” for her dance song, says. “No, I can’t go back to it.”
And singer/rapper Chris Rene, who wowed the judges with an original song on Wednesday, plans to ditch his gig as a trash hauler to pursue music, though he may still have a stake in the industry. “I want to start a hauling business and have friends of mine work [there],” he says. “I know the business, so that would be cool.”
