Everybody, rejoice – it’s almost time to ease on down the road back to Oz!

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen peeks at the stars of NBC’s The Wiz Live! on their own, but now PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at everyone together, including Toto.

“We’re creating a fantasy land that is also inspired by some of the imagery you’d see today,” Tony-nominated costume designer Paul Tazewell told PEOPLE in October. “It’s the edgiest of high fashion from now but in the world of the Emerald City.

Newcomer Shanice Williams stars as Dorothy. She’s joined by Ne-Yo as the Tin Man, Elijah Kelley as the Scarecrow and David Alan Grier as the Cowardly Lion.

“We aren’t going to get better than what was, because that’s not what this is about,” Ne-Yo, 36, said at a recent Sirius XM Town Hall event, referencing the original Broadway production and the 1978 film starring Michael Jackson and Diana Ross.”This is about bringing the story to the next generation.”

Rounding out the rest of the cast are Mary J. Blige as Evilene (aka the Wicked Witch of the West), Queen Latifah as The Wiz, Common as Bouncer the Emerald City gatekeeper, Uzo Aduba as Glinda, Stephanie Mills as Aunt Em and Amber Riley as Addaperle.

The Wiz Live! airs Dec. 3 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
