When The Voice returns later this month, we’re hoping the battle to find America’s most talented singer will be as epic as the show’s Super Bowl commercial.

Coaches Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams fly and fight in the promo for NBC’s hit singing competition while decked out in their post-apocalyptic best.

“The concept to me is this post-apocalyptic setting meets my old Dirrty video meets Tupac video,” said Aguilera, who’s returning as a coach after taking a break last season. Added Shelton on his attire: “This is an alligator that I actually backed over.”

To find out how the set was made (more than 20,000 lbs. of panels were welded together to create the dome!) and watch the judges fly like Peter Pan (“I won’t grow up!” joked Levine), take a look at the exclusive video above.
