The Maroon 5 singer unsuccessfully does his best to look unsexy during a comical segment

He’s the Sexiest Man Alive, but Adam Levine proved he still knows how to keep things humble.

The Voice coach poked fun at his smoldering title on the finale Tuesday night and happily let his fellow coaches get in on the action during a comical segment before the winner was crowned.

“Adam might be the Sexiest Man Alive, but they don’t know him like I know him,” declared fellow coach Cee Lo Green as (what else?) “I’m Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred played in the background.

“He ain’t sexy,” Green added with an exuberant laugh.

Levine, 34, jokingly seemed to try and prove Green right. The Maroon 5 frontman did his best to look faux-sexy as he chowed down on what appeared to be an oversize muffin while bits of food flew out of his mouth.

Later, Levine smells his armpit and declares, “Ooh, sexy has B.O. a lot.”

Christina Aguilera, the sole female coach on the panel, was the only one who seemed to take Levine’s bragging rights seriously, and looked a bit starry-eyed as she declared, “Adam can be a little bit of a distraction when he walks into a room.”

It was no surprise that fellow coach Blake Shelton got the last word. After all, the pair have been sparring partners/best buds for all five seasons of the show.

“The only thing about Adam becoming the Sexiest Man Alive is I know he’s getting a lot of attention, and let’s hope he doesn’t forget I’m still going to have the lap he can always sit in.”

Fittingly, Levine then jumps into Shelton’s arms like a schoolgirl. (And yes, he still looked sexy.)
