Adam Levine was “little bit p–– off” after having to say goodbye to two team members on The Voice‘s live results show Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the three other coaches – Usher, Shakira and Blake Shelton – were ecstatic that their artists will stay in the game.

The top eight singers all delivered performances that generated praise from the coaches Monday night, which made it nearly impossible to predict who would be sent home this week.

But it was Team Adam’s Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons who ended their run Tuesday. “I was a little surprised,” Hill said after the show.

“Last night was really fun,” she added about her performance of the electronic pop hit of and Justin Bieber, “#thatPOWER.” “I got rock out. That was a highlight for me.”

Simmons was also looking on the bright side: “I have no complaints,” she said. “It has been incredible. We’ve already won. If you can relate to one person, then you have. I didn’t even have cable before. Oh man, it’s like I got a taste of my dream. Being on that stage is just like, wow.”

Now, Levine has only one remaining on his team: country singer Amber Carrington, who closed Monday night’s show with a powerful performance of “Skyfall” (by Adele), which had the coaches on their feet.

“At least I have the best singer in the competition left. That’s nice to know,” Adam said after the show. “I don’t know what happened. People didn’t vote for two of the best singers in the competition, and it makes me sad and little bit p–– off, to be honest with you.”

“I believe in the talent of these singers and maybe their talent was overshadowed by some other things,” he went on to say. “It saps a little bit of the purity of the show. I was shocked. … To lose two at once, especially two who are so strong and beloved, doesn’t make any sense to me.”

The top six contestants – Team Usher’s Michelle Chamuel, Team Shakira’s Sasha Allen and Team Blake’s Tucker, The Swon Brothers and Danielle Bradbery – will perform again Monday night.
