It seems that the father of Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has, well, a situation with his son.

On his Web site, Frank Sorrentino writes that he is selling the rights to a book about his famous son, who stars on the MTV hit reality show Jersey Shore.

“I’m calling Mike on his s–t,” Frank writes. “I covered for Mike his entire life and when I needed his help he left me hanging.”

Frank says that the book will include dark details of his son’s life such as “hardcore partying, drugs, sex, crime elements, you name it.”

Frank’s agent, Robert Fletcher, hopes to sell the book this month – for six figures. As for the timing of the project, Fletcher designed the release to coincide with the start of production of Jersey Shore‘s next season in Italy.

Needless to say, the Situation is not pleased about his dad’s new endeavor.

“Mike is extremely saddened by his estranged father’s actions,” his rep said in a statement, adding that the book s main purpose is get media attention for Frank. “The Sorrentino family, Marc, Frank Jr., Melissa and their mother, Linda, remain united with Mike under these hurtful circumstances.”
