Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has returned home after completing treatment for a prescription drug problem, the Jersey Shore star announced Thursday.

Sorrentino, 29, posted a message addressed to his “fans and business partners” on his website Thursday.

“Michael ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino is home and would like to thank his fans, friends, family, and business partners for their continued support and words of encouragement,” the message reads, in part.

“He is now stronger and better than ever, and excited for this new amazing chapter in his life.”

In March, Sorrentino said he was seeking treatment because he had developed a problem with prescription medication due to exhaustion.

Though rumors have swirled that he was at the Cirque Lodge rehab facility in Utah, his rep previously clarified that he was “at an undisclosed location for much-needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule.”

Among Sorrentino’s upcoming projects? The sixth season of Jersey Shore, which is set to begin filming this summer in Seaside Heights, N.J.
