Move Over,' Walking Dead' ! 'The Real' Co-Hosts' Halloween Costumes Are a Frightful Delight

The co-hosts of the syndicated talk show got zombie makeup done for their Halloween episode, airing Monday

Brains appear to be on the menu at The Real.

“I’m obsessed with The Walking Dead, and I thought it would be really cool to be zombies,” The Real co-host Tamera Mowry-Housley says in a video exclusive to PEOPLE featuring her and her fellow co-hosts in their Halloween costumes.

Mowry-Housley, Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love and Jeannie Mai can be seen in the costumes on their Halloween episode airing Monday.

“And because we had to do it right, we actually got the makeup artist from The Walking Dead,” adds Mai.

But doing it right also meant spending a long time in the makeup chair, which was one downside for Love.

“I don’t like being in the makeup chair that long,” she admits. “But he was really, really nice and he was quick and I look good!”

The co-hosts of the syndicated talk show also got zombie-walking lessons that had Bailon realizing that she had been doing “Frankenstein arms” by mistake.

Says Mai: “It’s all about dragging body parts.”
