Nearly six months after her last round of chemotherapy to treat a rare cancer, The Little Couple star Dr. Jennifer Arnold says she’s doing great – and happily busy with work and family.

“I’m back to work full time,” Arnold, 40, said at the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute‘s Angels in Adoption event held in Washington D.C. on Wednesday.

Standing with her husband, Bill Klein, 39, and their two adopted children Will, 4, and daughter Zoey, 3, she smiled and said she’s doing “really well.”

As for what their two tots are up to these days: “Everything,” Arnold said with a laugh. “School, swimming and lots more outdoor playing.”

The siblings also have their playtime preferences.

“Will likes his cars – he’s a car guy,” says Arnold. “Zoey likes sidewalk chalk and bubbles.”

However, Arnold says soon there’s going to be more work than play.

“They’re starting school,” she said, and they plan to incorporate lessons from Will’s native China and Zoey’s native India.

“Their speech is getting better,” she adds. “We’re about to start some education with them from their countries – take some immersion courses in the near future – probably not right away.”

In the meantime, like any mom, she is just relishing their every accomplishment.

“Obviously, we have a lot of great milestones with these guys.”
