That could be the motto of MTV’s newest edition of The Challenge, Battle of the Bloodlines, which introduces a new crop of mostly unseen family members of Real World and Challenge veterans into the long-running competition’s already combustible dynamic. You’d think that most dramatic part of PEOPLE’s exclusive sneak peek at Wednesday’s premiere would be five-time Challenge winner Johnny "Bananas" Devenanzio talking about the show’s “maniacal plot twists” or the revelation that Cohutta Grindstaff’s cousin Jill postponed her wedding to join Bloodlines, but nope! In fact, it’s the story of the unraveling relationship between Cohutta and Nany Gonzélez, who made their showmance official after Free Agents only to see it go down in flames once the cameras were packed up. “I broke up with Nany, I probably broke her heart,” admits Cohutta. “She didn’t take that very well.” Though Nany is no stranger to hooking up on The Challenge, she says, “It bothers me now to know that Cohutta made me believe that it would work in real life. And he made me let my guard down and put myself out there for him and really, like, fall in love with him – I did.” But even on day one, Cohutta’s confidence in his decision to end the relationship wavers as he admits he’s still drawn to Nany even though the two of them “have no business being together.” Flirty looks are exchanges as the exes snuggle up to each other. Despite the bitter feelings between the exes, it looks like this lust story isn’t quite over yet. The Challenge: Battle of the Bloodlines premieres Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
