The Bachelorette Runner-Up Nick Viall: 'Shawn Really Enjoys Saying Things About Me'
ABC US News | World NewsKaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth open up about breaking the rules and their plans for a (really big) family. Subscribe now for all the details plus exclusive photos, only in PEOPLE!
“Shawn really enjoys saying things about me,” Viall, 34, told Good Morning America on Wednesday. “It just seems weird, like why he would talk about me so much.”
Bristowe, 30, picked 29-year-old Booth over Viall in the Bachelorette finale, which aired Monday night. Viall and Bristowe stirred a social media frenzy when they had sex behind closed doors (and before the customary Fantasy Suite date).
Bristowe and Booth seemed to add insult to injury on Good Morning America Tuesday when they poked fun at Viall’s response to being rejected in the season finale. In his frustration, Viall called himself “the world’s biggest joke,” took off the ring he and Bristowe had gotten in Ireland and threw it out of a car window.

“I thought it was funny – a weak toss, but that was expected,” Booth said Tuesday. “I would have gone overhand. He would go underhand.”
Despite the swipe at Booth, Viall told GMA he has moved on and wants to get back in the dating game. “I’m excited to be out there,” he said. “I am excited to get back out there and meet a great girl.”
In a separate GMA segment on Wednesday, Bristowe and Booth were back to play an advice game called Couples Confidential, facing off against Trista and Ryan Sutter, the successful Bachelorette couple from season 1.
