Reality Villains, They're Just Like Us! Chad Johnson Says He Struggles with Dating Apps
Chad Johnson, of Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise infamy, tells PEOPLE Now he's on Bumble and Tinder
Would you swipe right on Chad Johnson?
“I’m on the apps,” he shares, while snacking on some of his favorite treats: a protein bar, Jamba Juice smoothie, pound of turkey breast and an uncooked yam.
Particularly, Johnson says he uses Tinder as well as Bumble – a mobile phone app that requires women to message men first.
“Nothing ever comes from it,” he admits, “because they don’t understand the world you’re kind of like living in at this point.”
Johnson was booted from JoJo Fletcher‘s recent season of The Bachelorette not long after he threatened violence against some of the other men. He didn’t last long on Bachelor in Paradise, either, getting kicked off by host Chris Harrison during the season premiere after being verbally abuse to other cast members, the staff and crew.

Of the incident, Johnson tells PEOPLE Now, “I can’t lie, I did all that stuff… the proof is in the petals, things happen.”
And all that anger and aggression? Johnson seems to think it’s warranted.
“You screw me over I’m gonna come get you,” he says.
Harrison recently told reporters that Johnson “just wasn’t ready” to find love – which is maybe why his reality TV stints and foray into dating apps didn’t work out.
He could get a third shot, however. Said Harrison, “I welcome him back.”
