The Bachelor's Colton Underwood Gives Heather Her First Kiss: 'It Felt So Natural'
There’s no shortage of drama on this week’s episode of The Bachelor.
As the number of women narrows down, the competition to win Bachelor Colton Underwood‘s is heart heating up — and some women don’t seem to be able to handle the pressure.
After spending the week in Singapore, the women touch down in Khao Lak, Thailand, to continue to the journey.
ONE-ON-ONE WITH HEATHER
The first date cards arrives and awards Heather with a one-on-one in Thailand.
Colton and Heather spend the day walking around the town, laughing as they hold hands, tasting a lot of food, and letting her long hair blow in the wind. But let’s just cut straight to the chase — did they or did they not kiss?
From the start, it’s clear that Heather is ready to take that next step in their relationship, but Colton seems to be a bit more hesitant (even asking her at one point if she blows kisses, yeesh).
“I’ve never kissed anyone, but if Colton kissed me I’d definitely be okay with it,” she says.
When they sit down for dinner, they finally address the elephant in the room. Heather says despite having an eigh-month relationship, she’s really never been kissed.
“I never thought I would be 23 years old and have never kissed anyone. It’s not something I planned in my life,” she says. “But it happened.”
Colton admits that he’s nervous to kiss her because of how important that moment can be for someone.
“I don’t want you to think that because I’ve waited this long I’m waiting for some magical moment and I’m only going to kiss my husband,” she explains. “That’s not the case at all. I want to move forward with you and that’s something I want as well.”
With the all-clear, Colton gives Heather the rose and they walk toward the water together.
As fireworks start going off above them, Colton leans in for the kiss. IT HAPPENS! HE KISSES HER! And it’s no small peck; they full on make out.
“I have kissed a boy,” Heather giggles in a confessional interview. “It was so good. It felt so natural.”
And Colton seemed to be happy with the outcome as well.
“Kissing Heather was magical,” he says.
A SHOCKING EXIT
Meanwhile, back in the house, Elyse begins to question her relationship with Colton.
“It’s been weeks since our one-on-one and I feel s—-,” she says. “If my name is on a group date card, what does that mean? Does it mean that he feels strongly about your relationship and doesn’t need that extra time on a one-on-one? Or is he not that interested?”
When Elyse’s name shows up on a group-date card, she starts to spiral even more. By the time Colton returns from his date with Heather, Elyse has made a major decision.
She leaves to go visit Colton and tell him how she’s feeling.
“I want to know all the silly, stupid things about you and how we are together, and I can’t call Chris Harrison and say I want every one-on-one for the next year,” she says. “I want the time and attention that a relationship deserves.”
Clearly seeing where the conversation is going, Colton tries to reassure Elyse about their connection.
“I feel like when I’m with you, we give each other that,” he says. “With you, I’m excited.”
“I don’t give up on relationships. Especially ones I’m genuinely excited for,” he adds.
But Elyse knows what she has to do.
“I can’t accept a proposal after a few months of sharing your time and attention with other people,” she says. “This isn’t working for me. I have to leave.”
While he’s upset, Colton lets Elyse walk out.
Onyeka, Caelynn, Hannah G., Tayshia, Demi, Sydney, Kirpa (who has a mystery bandage on her chin that never gets explained), Hannah B. and Nicole head out for a survival-themed date.
The group explores the jungle — and all the critters crawling around it. The women actually handle everything pretty well, with minimal shrieks and girlish screams. They break up into groups to test who could survive in the jungle the longest by collecting their own food and water.
“The most ferocious animal in the jungle is Hannah Beast,” Hannah B. says
The women all seemed to enjoy the day, and spirits are running high as they go into the cocktail portion of the night — but things quickly take a turn.
Oneyka confides in Colton something that she says Elyse told her before she left. “She basically told me that Nicole said that she’s here so that she can find an opportunity to leave Miami,” she says, alluding to Nicole not being there to find love but find fame instead.
Disturbed by what he heard, Colton immediately grabs Nicole, who denies everything.
“That couldn’t be further from the truth,” she says. “I’m here because I haven’t been able to find love. It kills me if you were to take that and believe it.”
Back on the couch with the other women, Oneyka shares what is happening. Tayshia immediately jumps in and claims she heard the conversation between Elyse and Nicole and that Onyeka has it wrong.
“Nicole never said any of that,” she says. “All she said is that you have to take opportunities that can change your life.”
When Nicole returns she’s (rightfully) upset and confronts Onyeka: “I don’t understand why you’re spreading rumors to Colton.”
But even after hearing what Tayshia said, Onyeka stands by her decision to talk to Colton and doesn’t back down. “I can’t feel for someone who literally cries every single day,” she says on an off-camera interview.
Colton returns and gives to rose to Hannah B, who told him she was falling in love with him earlier in the night.

ONE-ON-ONE WITH CASSIE
There’s honestly not much to say about Cassie’s date with Colton other than WOW. The sexual chemistry is off the charts with these two.
“On a scale of one to hot, Colton is HOT,” she says. “I feel like we do have some chemistry and I’m looking forward to diving right in.”
They travel to a private island, where they spend the entire day making out. Making out on the boat, making out on the sand, making out in the ocean.
“It is so easy to be with her,” he says.
During the dinner portion of the night, Cassie opens up to Colton about her past, revealing she’s not a virgin. Colton reassures her that he would never ask her to be anyone she’s not.
“With me, you’re not going to be judged, with me you can feel safe,” he says.
They make out some more, and he gives her the rose.
“I just want you to know, I’m crazy about you,” he says as they make out on his bed.
After coming off the high of his date, Colton is quickly snapped back into reality when he gets to the cocktail party and has to deal with the Onyeka and Nicole drama again.
Nicole tells Colton that Onyeka has been bullying her since they first got in the house.
“She has spread a rumor that I am emotionally unstable, she’s belittled me, she’s made me feel like I’m not worthy and I’m not worthy of your love,” she says. “I don’t see her as someone you could ever have a future with.”

He tells Onyeka everything that happened. Onyeka rolls her eyes and denies it.
“It’s all lies,” she says. “She’s not a good person, and I don’t trust her intentions.”
She then pulls Nicole aside, and the two start arguing and slinging insults at each other so loudly that Colton can’t help but notice. He walks over and attempts to interrupt but is unsuccessful.
“I just came over here because I heard you guys yelling,” he says.
Frustrated and unable to get a word in, Colton storms off.
“I just need time alone,” he says when both Nicole and Oneyka try to go after him.
