I think maybe because of, to be honest with you, what happened with me. I think she doesn’t want to be around any of that.” Teresa and husband Joe were sentenced to a combined 56 months in prison for fraud in October 2014. Teresa served nearly a year in jail in 2015, and Joe is now completing his time at a Federal Correctional Institute in New Jersey. The 44-year-old adds of Gia, “Being in the TV world is great but it also could hurt you, and I think since she’s older she understands it the most … she just thinks being in this business [is] a blessing and it’s a curse at the same time.” The other girls, though, aspire for Hollywood fame, Teresa says. Milania, 10, even recently walked in a New York Fashion Week show. “She’s telling me she wants to be in movies, she wants me to find her an agent,” the Bravo star shares. The 11-year-old was invited to walk in the Fashion Week shows where younger sister Milania walked but declined because she didn’t want to miss school. “She walks an academically straight line,” Teresa says. “With everything, she’s very OCD. Everything has to be perfect.” Audriana, 7, also wouldn’t mind a career on the catwalk after the Fashion Week experience. Says Teresa, “That was her first time doing anything like that and she loved it, she was so good. She like the cameras too. And Audriana was really born in front of the cameras.” The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sundays (8 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
