RHONJ's Teresa Giudice Reveals If She and Danielle Staub Could Ever Become Friends Again
Speaking to PEOPLE Now, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star revealed that she and Staub are “no longer friends,” but that she “definitely wishes her well.”
“I mean listen, I’m not a follower, I’m a leader. And I’m not just going to not be somebody’s friend because someone else is telling me not to be somebody’s friend. She never did anything to me until—,” the 47-year-old said, pausing. “Watch the show and you’ll see what she did to me and now we’re not friends anymore.”
Last month on RHONJ, Giudice stood by Staub’s side after the 52-year-old pulled Margaret Josephs‘ ponytail and dragged her down during an episode. Despite their past rivalry (and now, old friendship), Giudice chose to stick by Staub’s side.
“I’m a grown woman. I can be friends with whoever I want. Everyone needs to butt the f— out,” Giudice told audiences on the episode. “They talk s— at each other, but that has nothing to do with me. Don’t put me in the middle.”
When asked on People Now what she’d think of Staub leaving the franchise, Giudice had a simple response: “Good for her if that’s what she chooses to do.”
As for whether the two could ever be friends again, Giudice is uncertain.
“She’s funny. She’s a good time to go out with. She is. I’m all about that. I’m all about just having fun and smiling and laughing and that’s what it was about,” she said. “You never know what happens in the future.”
Giudice’s best friend Dolores Catania then teased: “You’ll understand when you watch!”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Wednesdays (8 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
