courtAt the RHONJ reunion, Teresa Giudice said her jail time was the result of a set up by Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo

Insults and accusations are expected whenever the Real Housewives revisit the previous season, but none have been as damning as the claim Teresa Giudice appears to have made at the Real Housewives of New Jersey upcoming reunion.

In the supertease for the two-part season 7 closer, Giudice claims Jacqueline Laurita and RHONJ alum Caroline Manzo were behind the government’s investigation into her family’s finances — a case that led the Turning Tables author and her husband Joe, both 44, to be charged with 41 counts of mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud.

Teresa served an 11-month prison sentence for the charges. Joe is currently 7 months into his 41-month prison sentence, living at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey.

Since Joe is not a citizen of the United States (he was born in Italy), he could face deportation at the end of his jail term — a fact that brings Teresa to tears on the reunion.

But her tears are no where to be found when confronting Laurita, theformer friend with whom she has clashed throughout this season of RHONJ.

“You went to jail for lying,” Laurita says, calling Teresa out for her “41 counts of phony fraud.”

“No, it was you,” Teresa shoots back. “You or you and Caroline set me up on the government.”
