The Real Housewives of New Jersey star tweeted a positive message after her house arrest ended Friday.

“Feeling so blessed today,” she tweeted.

The star, 43, was sentenced to 15 months in jail in October 2014 after being found guilty of fraud charges. She started serving time at the Federal Correctional Institution, a minimum-security satellite camp for women in Danbury, Connecticut, on Jan. 5, 2015, and was released Dec. 23, but remained under house arrest until Friday morning.

“Teresa is very much looking forward to closing this dark chapter in her life and moving forward both personally and professionally,” her attorney James Leonard told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement Friday.

In the weeks since Teresa’s release, the Giudice family has been spending a lot of quality time together as they prepare for Teresa’s husband Joe to report to prison in March, when he will begin a a 41-month sentence. The couple – parents to daughters Gia, 15, Gabriella, 11, Milania, 10, and Audriana, 6 – recently took their children to celebrate Milania’s birthday at an indoor skydiving facility.

Teresa is also preparing to release her tell-all prison memoir Turning the Tables, out Tuesday.
