Joe Giudice is currently serving out his 41-month sentence in New Jersey
Teresa Giudice‘s finances are once again under scrutiny.
The Bravo star pleaded guilty in 2014 to bankruptcy fraud and served a 15-month sentence after admitting she and her husband hid assets from bankruptcy creditors and submitted phony loan applications to get $5 million in mortgages and construction loans.
Giudice’s lawyer Carlos Cuevas told the federal judge that the reality star now has a payment plan in place with the Internal Revenue Service and that she has paid or has agreements to pay 27 of the 29 creditors listed in her 2009 bankruptcy filing, according to the outlet.
The newspaper also reports that Judge Meisel’s decision to reopen the case could mean unsatisfied creditors might be able to collect potential proceeds from a lawsuit The Real Housewives of New Jersey star filed against her bankruptcy attorney.
