'Teen Mom OG' 's Catelynn Lowell Enters Treatment Facility: 'I Can't Wait to Be Back to My Normal Self'

Catelynn Lowell is entering a treatment facility in Arizona.

“I’m seeking help for myself and my family,” the Teen Mom OG star told MTV News Wednesday, stressing that her treatment will focus on mental health issues and not drug use. “Thank you to all of my supporters. My family and I would appreciate some privacy at this time.”

Earlier, she posted a photo on Instagram from inside an airplane, writing, “Arizona here I come… I can’t wait to be back to my normal self… this is for me and my family.. Novalee and Tyler I love you both very much!!!”

Her husband Tyler Baltierra tweeted that it would be difficult for his wife to be away for so long.

The news come after Baltierra took to Twitter Tuesday to share several mysterious tweets, asking fans to keep Lowell in their prayers.

“Please just pray for my wife,” Baltierra wrote, before following up with a second tweet.

“For better or for worse…through sickness & in health…I will NEVER stop fighting for my wife. Keep her in your prayers…thank you,” he added.

Lowell also shared her own candid messages.

“For everyone that thinks I’m so ‘strong’ I’m really not… one day you will know why. I also can be very weak,” she wrote.

In a second tweet, she thanked fans for their support.

“You guys have NO CLUE on how much you lift me up sometimes…” she wrote.

In response to a fan reassuring the reality star that everything would be okay, Lowell tweeted: “Sometimes it just sucks.”

The couple has been through their fair share of difficult times throughout their 10-year relationship, including the bittersweet choice to give up their firstborn, Carly, for adoption more than six years ago, but they have been happily married since last August and are parents to their second daughter, Novalee Reign, 1.

The new mom was seen struggling with postpartum depression on the most recent season of Teen Mom OG.
