Taylor Armstrong is baring it all.

In her new memoir, Hiding from Reality: My Story of Love, Loss and Finding the Courage Within, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star details the trauma she endured during her marriage to the late Russell Armstrong.

“My book takes readers behind the glamour of Beverly Hills to show them the terrible violence I suffered, and the slow and painful process of rebuilding my shattered life,” Taylor tells PEOPLE in a statement. “I want readers in abusive relationships to learn from my suffering and use my book to help them find their own courage within.”

Russell, who committed suicide in August, had blamed the pressures of filming the hit Bravo series for driving him to the point of abusing his wife.

The memoir, unveiled on Watch What Happens Live on Bravo, will be out Feb. 7 from Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster.
