As usual, Cookie takes the cake – and this time, it’s for her fierce feline Halloween costume.

Taraji P. Henson, who stars as Cookie Lyon on the smash Fox show, Empire, pulled out all the stops for her cheetah costume to celebrate Halloween with Hennessy V.S. at the Empire Halloween Party at Time Nightclub in Chicago over the weekend.

Henson, 45, was decked out in a skin-tight bodysuit, cheetah ears, wild honey blonde mane and some serious makeup.

A source tells PEOPLE the actress spent much of the evening taking selfies with her fans.

“Puuuuuurrrrrrrr Happy Halloween,” she wrote on Instagram as the caption to a super-sexy picture of herself posing in her get-up.

“Roooooaaaarrrrrr!!!! I’m HONGRY !!!! #HappyHalloween,” she captioned a selfie of herself growling at the camera.

“Here kitty kitty,” she added. “#allaboutlastnight #halloweenhangover.”

She also shared close-ups of her glam cat makeup and cheetah-print nails.

A few of Henson’s Empire costars attended the bash as well, including Gabourey Sidibe, who hilariously dressed up as Rhonda Lyon from Empire (played by actress Kaitlin Doubleday).

Trai Byers and Grace Gealey were also at the party. The couple – who recently confirmed their real-life engagement – dressed up as Bonnie and Clyde.

Empire airs Wednesday (9 p.m. ET) on Fox.
