Confronted by counselors Jim and Elizabeth Carroll in an exclusive preview from Friday’s episode of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, Reid stammers to define the nature of her relationship with the man she has claimed for weeks is her boyfriend. “Is there something you’d like to tell us about your relationship?” the counselors charge. Reid, 40, looks confused, cautiously responding, “That it hasn’t been working right now?” The Carrolls aren’t buying it, though, with one counselor charging, “Do you think we’re fools?” They reveal that footage recorded of Reid featured her stating that she and May aren’t a real couple. The Sharknado 4 star struggles to explain, telling her counselors, “I love Dean.” But, a pre-recorded interview tells all: “Part of the reason we did the show is because [May] owes money and taxes and he could use the money and he wouldn’t mind the fame … so I wanted to do the show for him,” Reid revealed in the earlier sit-down. May and Reid blow up, fighting with each other about who cares about the other more. “You lost somebody you care about,” May says. “I just want to be as far away from you as possible.” Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars airs Fridays (9 p.m. ET) on WEtv.
