Last week, the Real Housewives of Orange County star’s eldest child, Ryan Vieth, spoke out about a transgender family in an Instagram post, which Judge reportedly commented on. “I’d like to address the many comments regarding my son Ryan’s posts on Instagram. I have been extremely upset my son would post such a thing. A post that I did NOT see because he took it down immediately knowing it was WRONG,” Judge, 51, wrote on Instagram on Monday, sharing a quote by the late Martin Luther King Jr. in honor of MLK Day. Vieth, 33, is her son with ex Darren Vieth. On Jan. 15, he posted a screenshot of an article titled “Britain’s first transgender family reveals son, 5, is also transitioning,” according to All About the Tea. He reportedly captioned the post, “LETS BE F—— REAL, THE WORLD IS F—–. COMPLETELY F—–.” Responding to the post, Judge commented, “Wow that’s sad. 5-year-old can not make a decision like that,” according to the outlet. In the Bravo star’s apologetic social media post, she admitted, “I had a concerned ‘mom’ moment when referring to a post about a 5-year-old making life altering decisions,” but assured fans: “My comment did not come from a place of hate. I’ve encouraged Ryan to make his own amends but in the meantime, I’m extremely sorry.” “His words were harsh & unacceptable,” the mother of four — she is also mom to daughters Sidney and Sophia and son Spencer, with ex Simon Barney — said about Vieth, who is dad to daughter Ava, 3, with ex Sarah Rodriguez.
